10 Year old pupil at Middle Row School designs an iconic ‘Trellick Tower’ bag for the Notting Hill Shopping Bag Company
A 10 year old pupil from Middle Row school has become the latest Kensington & Chelsea schoolchild to see their design featured on the Notting Hill Shopping Bag. Ten year old Chanay’s eye-catching bag, featuring the iconic Trellick Tower, goes on sale today.
The bag is one of a series of bags produced by The Notting Hill Shopping Bag project, a new community project, which aims to reduce plastic bag use, and donates 10% of profits to good causes. Previous bags have featured an image of Notting Hill’s coloured houses by an 11 year old from Colville Primary School, a map of the local area by a 10 year old from Bevington Primary School and a ‘cupcake’ design by X factor judge and Notting Hill resident Natalie Imbruglia. Future designs are in the pipeline from children at Oxford Gardens School and St Stephen’s School.
